The International Kolkata Book Fair also known as Antarjatik Kolkata Boimela or Antarjatik Kolkata Pustakmela in Romanized Bengali is the world's largest non-trade book fair, and the most attended Book fair in the World with an average record footfall of 2.5 million year on year, it occupies third position after Frankfurt Book Fair and London Book Fair in terms of accumulation of Books. The 41st edition of the Fair will be held January 25-February 5 2017 at the Milan Mela Ground in Kolkata, India. Authors, poets, and other creative personalities from the country grace the Inauguration ceremony of the International Kolkata Bookfair.
Every year there is a focal theme country, which gets an entire pavilion to showcase their culture, traditions, food, tourism, and literature through books.
